Simultaneous determination of lappaconitine hydrobromide and isopropiram fumarate in rabbit plasma by capillary electrophoresis with electrochemiluminescence detection

Abstract: A CE electrochemiluminescence (CE-ECL) method for simultaneous determination of lappaconitine hydrobromide (LH) and isopropiram fumarate (IF) has been first established, with a chemically modified platinum electrode by europium (III)-doped Prussian blue analogue film as a working electrode. The conditions for CE separation and ECL detection are discussed and optimized in detail. It has been proved that 20 mmol/L phosphate buffer (pH 8.5) containing 5% (v/v) ACN and 0.17 mol/L SDS could achieve the most favorab… Show more

“…Ru(bpy) 3 2+ -based ECL has been widely used in analytical science due to its inherent advantages, such as extreme stability, good water solubility, high sensitivity, spatial and temporal controllability, wide dynamic range, wide range of analytes and compatibility with separation techniques. Many analytes of interest, including amines, amino acids, drugs, alcohol, oxalate, glucose and certain biomolecules, have been successfully determined with low detection limits (7,14,15,(18)(19)(20)(21)(22). These analytes usually act as the alternative co-reactant to TPrA.…”

“…Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) is a wonderful detection method that converts electrical energy into radiative energy by an applied voltage. ECL analysis offers simplicity, high sensitivity, and low background noise and has become a greatest candidate available for coupling with CE . Among the ECL systems, ruthenium complexes, particularly tris(2,2‐bipyridine) ruthenium (Ru(bpy) 3 2+ ), is the most valuable in fundamental studies because of its more stability and efficiency in aqueous phase .…”
