Abstract:RESUMENSe presenta el caso de un varón de 58 años que desarrolló síndrome nefrótico en el curso de dos meses. Se le halló una banda monoclonal de IgM kappa con la inmunofijación del suero. La biopsia de mucosa oral mostró la presencia de amiloide, probablemente AL, y la biopsia renal demostró depósitos de cadenas ligeras tipo kappa en el mesangio, siendo negativo para cadenas lambda.PALABRAS CLAVE: Síndrome nefrótico, paraproteinemias, amiloidosis, enfermedades renales.
