Sistema de saúde suplementar brasileiro e transição demográfica: crescimento e perfil etário

Abstract: Objetivo: O artigo tem como objetivo avaliar o ritmo de crescimento da população brasileira de 2000 a 2010 e descrever o perfil etário dos beneficiários do setor de saúde suplementar. Método: Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva baseada em dados da Agência Nacional de Saúde Suplementar e do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística.
