“…However, a tendency of ABTS to increase in EMB ewes was observed compared with CON. The EMB has a high polyphenol content (Table ), composed mainly of hydrolysable tannins and, to a lesser extent, of ellagic and gallic acids (3,724, 495 and 386 µg/g of EMB dry matter respectively; Nudda et al, ).
