Small RNA Profiling in HTLV-1-infected Patient with Acute Adult T-cell Leukemia-Lymphoma at Diagnosis and After Maintenance Therapy: A Case Study

Abstract: Small RNAs (sRNA) are epigenetic regulators of essential biological processes that have been linked to the onset and progression of leukemia, including acute adult T-cell leukemia-lymphoma (ATLL) caused by the retrovirus Human T-lymphotropic virus type 1. Here, we describe the sRNA profile of a 30-year-old female with ATLL at diagnosis and after maintenance therapy, with the goal of correlating their expression levels with response to therapy.
