SNAREs in Mammalian Sperm: Possible Implications for Fertilization

Abstract: Soluble N-ethylmalameide-sensitive factor attachment protein receptor (SNARE) proteins are present in mammalian sperm and could be involved in critical membrane fusion events during fertilization, namely the acrosome reaction.
