Aim. To study the dependence of office and ambulatory blood pressure (BP) level in students with their ethnicity.Material and methods. A total of 110 students were examined as follows: 35 from Russia, 34 from Tropical Africa and 41 from India. Lifestyle was studied using a standardized questionnaire. All students underwent measurement of office blood pressure and 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) using the BPLabH system (Russia).Results. Students from Russia were more likely to lead a sedentary lifestyle than from Africa (p=0,001) or India (p=0,027). Students from Tropical Africa added salt to food more often than Indians (p=0,03). Office blood pressure measured in the first half of the day was within the normal range for all subjects and did not differ between different ethnic groups. According to ABPM, there were no intergroup differences in systolic blood pressure during the daytime and 24 hours. Diastolic blood pressure of Africans during the daytime (p=0,029) and 24 hours (p=0,002) was higher than in Russians. Nighttime systolic and diastolic blood pressure of African students was significantly higher than in Russian (p=0,006 and p<0,0001, respectively) or Indians (p=0,008 and p=0,006, respectively). Africans showed a smaller blood pressure decrease at night and were more likely to have masked hypertension at night than Russians (p=0,004) or Indians (p=0,046).Conclusion. Office BP did not vary by ethnicity. With ABPM, no differences in blood pressure levels were found between Indian and Russian students. African students had higher blood pressure at night, including masked hypertension, than students from India or Russia.

данная статья посвящена рассмотрению специфики преподавания языка специальности иностранным студентам в медицинском вузе. Целью работы является обобщение опыта преподавания языка специальности на уроках русского языка как иностранного зарубежным студентам. В статье рассматриваются основные задачи дисциплины, трудности, с которыми сталкиваются преподаватели и студенты в процессе преподавания и изучения языка специальности. Формирование профессионально ориентированной коммуникативной компетенции происходит на занятиях по русскому языку в процессе работы с текстами медико-биологического характера. В статье подчеркивается важность текстоориентированного подхода для получения навыков чтения специальной литературы и развития навыков репродуктивной и продуктивной устной и письменной речи обучающихся. Значительное место в преподавании языка специальности занимает изучение профессиональной терминологии, так как именно научные ипрофессиональные термины отражают предметное содержание будущей профессии. Приводятся фрагменты из разработанного учебного пособия для иллюстрации методики обучения русскому языку как иностранному, анализируются частотные ошибки, допускаемые студентами в процессе усвоения дисциплины. Анализ и интерпретация ошибок призваны помочь преподавателям, преподающим данную дисциплину, сделать акцент на некоторых учебных аспектах и избежать повтора ошибок в работе с последующими группами обучающихся. this article considers the specifics of teaching the language of specialty to foreign students at a medical university. The purpose of the work is to summarize the experience of teaching the language of the specialty at the lessons of Russian as a foreign language to foreign medical students. The article discusses the main tasks of the discipline, the difficulties faced by teachers and students in the process of teaching and learning the language of the specialty. The formation of professionally oriented communicative competence takes place in Russian language classes in the process of working with texts of a medical and biological nature. The article emphasizes the importance of a text-oriented approach for obtaining skills in reading specialized literature and developing the skills of reproductive and productive oral and written speech in students. A significant place in teaching the language of the specialty is occupied by the study of professional terminology, since it is scientific and professional terms that reflect the subject content of the future profession. Fragments from the published textbook are presented to illustrate the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language, and the frequent mistakes made by students in the process of mastering the discipline are analyzed. The analysis and interpretation of mistakes are aimed to help teachersof this discipline to focus on some educational aspects and avoid repeating mistakes in working with subsequent groups of students.
