Soil texture analyses using a hydrometer: modification of the Bouyoucos method

Abstract: Bouyoucos (1936) proposed a more rapid and simpler procedure called the hydrometer method. Both analytical techniques are sedimentation procedures accepted as standard techniques for particle-size analysis.
