“…Among them, supercapacitors are gaining popularity for space applications as they significantly overcome various serious limitations of lithium (Li)-ion batteries and are capable of withstanding the harsh environmental conditions encountered in space. , Moreover, the performance of supercapacitors with the decrease in temperature does not decline much in comparison to the currently used Li-ion batteries.
