“…R-134a and Ammonia are two examples of such chemicals [35]. The system which uses R-134a increases COP of the system more than 50%, when compare to R22 refrigerant [48]. So, in this experiment, R-134a has been used.…”

“…Chata et al, 2005 [31] optimized the COP of the system with individual refrigerant and conclusion came that the best COP is generated by R-12 in comparison with R-22 and R134a. Abou and Ziyan, 1997 [32] carried out numerous studies on R22 and R134a to find the best flowing fluid. Duarlte et al, 2019 [33] compared various refrigerant for Direct Expansion-Solar Assisted Heat Pump (DXSAHP) and the result came that for R290 shows the best result were seen when the solar radiation is 300w/m 2 700w/m 2 for R134a the best result was seen when the radiation are below 50w/m 2 it is also discovered that the COP value and the TEWI value are inversely proportional to each other.…”

“…Slesarenko showed that integrating a heat pump to a thermal desalination plant could improve the economical and thermodynamic factors by 2–3 times. Abou‐Ziyan et al reported that the solar assisted heat pump has performance better than that of the conventional heat pump and also using the refrigerant R134a gave better coefficient of performances with respect to R22 and R404a. A review of published work on the physics and modeling of flashing flows is presented by Liao et al The work was aimed to provide an overview of available theoretical models for these sub‐phenomena and corresponding modeling frameworks.…”
