Various Bi-based solid solutions have been reported and include a Ce1-xBixO2-δ (x = 0.1-0.5) solid solution fabricated by Marija et al [95] through a self-propagating method, and a (Bi1-yLay)4(V1-xMex)2O11-y (x, y < 0.2, Me = Zr, Ga, Fe, Cu) solid solution synthesized by Politova et al [96] using a solid state reaction.
