Solitary fibrous tumor located in the sella turcica: A report of two cases and review of the literature

Abstract: Abstract. Solitary fibrous tumors (SFTs) of the sella turcica are rare entities, with only four cases reported in the literature thus far. The current study describes two cases of SFT arising from the sella turcica, including presentation of the clinical, imaging and histopathological findings, and the initial treatment strategies and diagnosis, with emphasis on the treatment of the tumor in this unusual location.
