Solitons and Instantons in Vacuum Stability: Physical Phenomena

Abstract: In a previous paper (JCAP06, 033, 2018), we have proved that it is possible to have a stable false vacuum in a potential that is unbounded from below. In this paper, we discuss the physics related to our theoretical and numerical results. We show that the results of recent CERN experiments lead to the fact that our vacuum is safe.
