“…As methanol is the smallest alcohol, the methanol dehydration performance of ED-GO@PSSHF membrane was compared with those of polymeric, inorganic and GO based membranes (Fig. 6b ) 8 , 44 , 45 . For polymeric membranes, the separation factors decrease as the liquid fluxes increase, forming an upper bound depends on the flux and separation factor.…”

“…Compared with the reported membranes, the α H2O/EtOH of TU‐GOF membrane is two orders of magnitude higher than that of the filtration GO membranes and close to that of NaA zeolite membranes (Figure S26, Supporting Information) . Furthermore, the methanol dehydration performance of the TU‐GOF membrane is far above the upper boundary of polymeric membranes, superior to that of silica membranes, and even comparable with those of classic zeolite membranes (Figure S27, Supporting Information) . It demonstrates that the TU‐GOF membrane exhibits an extraordinary exclusion effect for the primary alcohols.…”

“…However, it can be seen that the performance of the GOF-SSA membrane is beyond the upper bound of polymeric membranes, with higher water permeation flux than those of T-type zeolite and A-type zeolite membranes. [49][50][51] In summary, hydrophilic SSA was employed to interlink the GO nanosheets through esterification reaction, leading to the restricted swelling of the GOF-SSA and excellent molecular sieving ability. The hydrophilicity of the GOF-SSA was improved benefitting from the unreacted sulfonic groups.…”
