The use of smartphones can significantly impact positive and negative users, especially among teenagers today, and teenagers still get much information via smartphones without adult supervision. This disrupts adolescent health and the growth of socialization abilities because of difficulties communicating with the environment; the child becomes irritable, and his knowledge does not develop. Middle school teenagers experience significant physical, social, and emotional changes, which will develop a stronger self-identity and require social interaction with society by frequently using smartphones in every social and other activity. This activity aims to provide understanding to teenagers to be more competent in using communication technology and change the mental habits of teenagers who depend on smartphones. The event was held at SMP IT Al Jawahir Sunggal, Deli Serdang, with 25 participants. This activity uses lecture, discussion, and test methods. Based on the pre-test and post-test presentation, the test score increased 56% after socialization, 36% was neutral, and 8% decreased after socialization.
