“…The bands observed at 3450-3425 and 3510-3490 cm -1 is due to two coordinated water molecules. The bands observed far infrared region at 530-505 cm -1 due to (MN) linkage and 480-460 cm -1 for (MO) [17][18][19][20]. The central metal ions have eight co-coordinated numbers and ligand behaves as bidentate.…”

“…The XRD of ligand and its complexes were recorded in the range of 5-80° (2θ) value, arising from diffraction of X-ray by planes of complex. The interplanar spacing (d) has been calculated from the position of intense peak using Bragg's equation: ηλ = 2d sin θ, where λ = wavelength of X-ray used (CuKα = 1.54A), η is an integer (1, 2, 3, 4 …), θ is the diffraction angle [37]. The 2θ values for the prominent peaks and the calculated spacing together with relative intensities with respect to most intense Table-7.…”

“…A broad band at 3483 cm −1 characteristic to the stretching vibrations of phenolic O-H group, in the free ligand, the disappearance of this peak in the spectra of most complexes indicates the de-protonation of phenol proton prior to coordination [22]. The band at 1544 cm −1 in the ligand may be assigned as υ C=N stretching vibration of the azomethine group which already shifted to higher frequencies in most complexes suggesting that this group is involved in the coordination with metal [23]. A sharp peaks around 1647 cm -1 is due to C=O stretching vibrations.…”
