Abstract:Background: A dentifrice and a toothbrush are universal armamentariums for oral hygiene maintenance. The presence of fluoride in commercial dentifrices aids in dental caries prevention. The fluoride content and compound are mentioned on the packaging along with the time of manufacture and its shelf life.
