Spiegelmers as potential receptors for cTnI diagnostics

Abstract: We demonstrate the first application of a nuclease resistant aptamer, the so-called Spiegelmer, in a sandwich-type affinity assay by quantitative assessment of cardiac Troponin I (cTnI) in blood serum samples.
