Spiro‐Verbindungen, VI. Stereoisomere Acorenone. PFT‐¹³C‐NMR‐Spektren und massenspektroskopische Untersuchungen

Abstract

The I3C NMR spectra of the four stereoisomeric acorenones 1-4 (l-isopropyl-4,8-dimethylspiro[4.5]dec-8-en-7-ones) allow the assignment of these spiranes to the 1,4-trans (1/2) or 1,4-cis (3/4) series, respectively; in case of the cis-isomers 3 and 4 the relative configuration at the spirochirality center C-5 can be determined. -Comparison of different intensities of corresponding ion pairs in the mass spectra of 1-4 allows the unequivocal discrimination of the four stereoisomers.In friiheren Mitteilungen ' -4, haben wir die Totalsynthesen der racem. spirocyclischen Sesquiterpen-Ketone 1 -4 beschrieben, von denen die beiden 1,4-cis-Stereoisomeren, Acorenon (4) und Acorenon-B (3), als Naturstoffe bekannt sind. Die Struktur des Syntheseprodukts 3 wurde u. a. durch die Identitat des 'H-NMR-Spektrums mit dem des optisch aktiven Naturstoffs bewiesen 2* '). Die Bestimmung der relativen Konfiguration der drei anderen Stereoisomeren erfolgte durch paarweise Konfigurationskorrelation und durch chemische Abbaureaktionen. So ist 3 konfigurativ mit 2 verkniipft, da beide Spirane bei der Synthese als C-1-Epimere gebildet werden3). Des weiteren wurden die ') Bisheriger Serientitel: Synthese von Spiro-Verbindungen; V.
