The purpose of this research; To examine the relationships between the psychological skills and personality traits of Turkish cyclists participating in the Presidential Cycling Tour. In line with the purpose, the five factor personality inventory and the scale of evaluating the psychological skills of the athletes were applied to the Turkish athletes who participated in the Presidential Cycling Tour of Türkiye in the years 2020-2021-2022. In the research findings, the average of "evaluation of the psychological skills of the athletes" is 1.889±0.401, "ability to cope with difficulties" mean 1.925±0.722, the mean of being open to learning is 1.867±0.466, "concentration" mean 1.958±0.636, "confidence and success motivation" mean 2,200±0,576, "goal setting and mental preparation" mean 2,033±0.658, The mean of "performing" is low level 1.871±0.700, the mean of "get rid of worries" was determined as 1,371±0.691. As a result of the research, it was determined that the most important personality trait affecting the psychological skill levels of cyclists is openness to experience. It has been determined that another variable affecting the psychological skills of the athletes is amiability, which is a personality trait. It was determined that the self-discipline personality trait only increased the ability to be open to learning. It was concluded that extraversion personality trait is not a variable that affects the psychological skills of athletes.
