Abstract:Previous work has demonstrated that the angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory peptide RVPSL is very unstable and loses its ACE inhibitory activity in the gastrointestinal tract. Thus, graphene oxide (GO) was used to improve the stability of RVPSL in the present work. The structure and morphology of RVPSL-GO were characterised using Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and atomic force microscopy. Moreover, the cytotoxicity of RVPSL-GO… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
