“…The low-cost and environmentally friendly biomass foam is mainly composed of biomass starch, [31] which is generally used in shock prevention and transportation industries, including aircraft interior panels and crash pads. [32,33] However, the majority of them are just burned or thrown away after usage, taking up space in public and harming the environment. It has greater amounts of carbon than other materials, which makes it a suitable precursor for high-performance hard carbon composites.…”

“…Then, the comparison results of high‐resolution Transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) images and selected area Electron diffraction (SAED) were used to further explore the microstructure of the three carbon‐based materials, which is shown in Figure 1b–d. In these three samples, a clear short‐range ordered vortex layer graphite microcrystalline structure were observed with no visible long‐range highly graphitized structure, which means that the prepared samples are typical hard carbon, it's worth noting that during the pre‐heating process in air, a large number of bent graphene microcrystals [ 35,36 ] and closed nanopores [ 33 ] appear inside WFOC250‐1400 and WFOC280‐1400, which is conducive to generate more sodium storage sites. As a contrast, only some thick stacks and smaller pore was generated in WFC‐1400 which without additional preheating in the air atmosphere.…”

“…For example, ellagic acid, to‐coumaric acid, caffeic acid, ferulic acid, chlorogenic acid, and iso‐chlorogenic acid (Arimboo et al., 2008; Wang et al., 2022). In addition, plant extracts are divided into fat‐soluble and water‐soluble extracts (Huang et al., 2022; Zagoskina et al., 2013). The difference in solubility was mainly caused by the difference of structure.…”

“…32,33 The abundant O atoms in the cellulose-based material can form coordination bonds with metal atoms to prevent the corrosive medium from contacting the metal. 34,35 Sugarcane bagasse is a widely sourced cellulose-based industrial waste. 36 However, the separation and purification of cellulose from sugarcane bagasse is complex and expensive, which greatly hinders its conversion.…”
