“…More research is needed to see if treating increased blood glucose can prevent the hypertension development [28]. This study also represents that there was higher percentage of abnormal total cholesterol in hypertension group (44.2%), while also there was higher percentage of abnormal TG was in hypertensive T2DM patients' groups (37.1%) and this results in agreement with [29] that found serum levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride, and LDL-C in hypertensive subject were significantly (p<0.001) higher levels in hypertensive patients [29]. These findings suggest that patients in this group have hyperlipidemia, which is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease.…”
