Abstract: Untersuchungen an neuen Metallocenkatalysatoren zur Polymerisation von α‐Olefinen haben gegenwärtig weitreichende Auswirkungen auf die Entwicklung neuer Materialien und auch auf unser Verständnis der grundlegenden Reaktionsmechanismen, die für das Wachstum von Polymerketten an einem Katalysatorzentrum und für deren Stereoregularität verantwortlich sind.
