Seaweeds and their extracts have been used in many countries as soil conditioners, crop growth, and increase the yield, yield components (Verkleij, 1992;Norrie and Keathley, 2006;Chouliaras et al, 2009;Sabir et al, 2014) enhance seed germination, seedling vigor (Kambayashi and Watanabe, 2005;Demir et al, 2006;Economou et al, 2007), increase uptake of nutrients, ripening of fruits, increases shelf-life of the produce, and resistance to fungal diseases such as leaf stripe disease symptoms in grape (Calzarano et al, 2014) and Alternaria radicine and Botrytis cinerea in carrot (Jayaraj et al, 2008) and shoot length, root length, fresh and dry weights of seedlings were significantly increased in wheat (El-Din, 2015).
