The distorted-wave approximation combined with the Born-Oppenheimer approximation is applied to calculate rovibrationally resolved state-to-state differential and final-statespecific integral cross sections associated with the Xtransitions of H 2 , as well as the anisotropy parameters for the excited state. The comparison of our final-state-specific cross sections with the available recent laser-induced fluorescence experimental data in the 12-22 eV range is very encouraging.
