The article defines the essence of sociocultural activities of students with special needs, implemented in the educational space of the higher educational institution in the form of student associations. The stages of the practical implementation of the technology of sociocultural activity through the processes of re-socialization, the formation of value-semantic orientations and proactive life attitude with the preservation of the principles of health conservation and humanization of higher education in the Russian Federation, which are important components of effective functioning of students with disabilities in the field of sociopolitical relations and professional activity, are highlighted. The legal status of students with special needs, the conditions for obtaining higher education, the goals and objectives of the application of sociocultural technologies and social work practices in relation to this vulnerable social group are determined. The specificity of social education in the context of an inclusive educational process implemented in the activities of a student association is revealed, which determines the tasks of socio-pedagogical and psychological and pedagogical support for young people with disabilities. The article presents the methodological substantiation of the applicability of the technology of sociocultural rehabilitation in the context of the educational process at the higher educational institution as an artistic and creative technology aimed at self-actualization of the individuality of students with special needs, the formation of professional identity and readiness for professional activity in the chosen field of knowledge and practice. The effectiveness of the practical application of this technology in the conditions of the inclusive professionally oriented student association "Abilimpics" of the Department of Social Work, Kostroma State University, is proved. According to the results of the empirical study, it was proved that the regional championship of professional skills "Abilimpics" helps a student with special needs to replenish and restore social competencies and makes the process of choosing their own professional and ego identity within an inclusive educational space more focused and defined: specialist-professional mentor and assistant-participant-student.

The article reveals the main scientific and methodological approaches to solving the problem of successful socialisation of low-mobility categories of children and youth using information educational technologies. The principles of the application of information training technologies for the design and implementation of social and navigation content aimed at the successful socialisation of children and youth in the digital space are substantiated. The importance of creating an information system of tutor support for low-mobility categories of children and youth is shown. The model of the social navigator game content is presented, which includes the implementation of a three-level game educational space – full, reduced and in-depth. The educational material in the social navigator game content model is provided and adapted for low-mobility categories of children and youth in various forms – pictorial, numerical, symbolic and verbal. According to the results of the study, the functions and content components are determined.

The Department of Social Work at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Kostroma State University actively develops and updates scientific approaches in the practice of organizing social activities, focuses on the need to expand the potential of regional practices in promoting popular areas of social support for citizens, the elderly and the disabled. Scientific meetings held at KSU do not just summarize the existing experience, but consider social work as a comprehensive, helping direction that organizes its work in the context of the strategic vector of state development, aimed at mitigating risks, disadvantages and unlocking the potential of these categories of the population. As a result of six scientific conferences (2020-2022), one can see a trend in the formation of a technological approach as a scientific direction for the study of social work with the elderly and disabled, carried out by teachers of the Department of Social Work of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Kostroma State University. The teachers of the department scientifically generalize, systematize the best practices of social, pedagogical, psychological activity, methodically accompany the introduction of relevant technologies of social activity, form an emphasis on the inclusion of a wide range of young people in scientific understanding of the processes of social development of the country, region, municipality. Scientific meetings make it possible to unite the leading scientific schools of social work, formed both at the universities of the Russian Federation and abroad.
