Structural characterization and biological activity of exopolysaccharide from Lysinibacillus fusiformis

Abstract: The exopolysaccharide (EPS) of Lysinibacillus fusiformis were evaluated for their antioxidant properties. The total antioxidant capacity of EPS extracts was found to be maximum in malt medium 80.13 ± 0.26%. The hydrogen peroxide radical scavenging activity was found to be maximum in malt medium 78.3 ± 0.26%.
