Studies on optimization of L-glutaminase production under submerged fermentation from marine Bacillus subtilis JK-79

Abstract: In the current study, a marine strain Bacillus subtilis JK-79 capable of producing L-glutaminase enzyme, was analyzed for maximal L-glutaminase production. The Plackett-Burman design (PBD) was applied to determine the significant variables. Optimum conditions of the significant variables on Lglutaminase production were determined by the Central Composite Design (CCD) of response surface methodology.
