Studies on Soil Insecticides

Abstract: The LC50's of screened insecticides when applied to the soil, against prepupae of P. litura F. at 25° C and 20 % R.H. were: 1.9, 2.4, 2.8, 2.9, 3.0, 4.2, 4.3, 5.0 and 5.8 p.p.m. for valexon, kepone, lindane, diazinon, Bayer (5820), Geigy A (3218), endrin, PP 211 and gusathion respectively (calculated on active ingredient basis of each insecticide).
