Study of Predictive Value of Pediatric Risk of Mortality (PRISM) Score in Children with End Stage Liver Disease and Fulminant Hepatic Failure

Abstract: PRISM score can be applied with an adequate degree of accuracy for severity assessment and mortality prediction to pediatric patients with ESLD or FHF.

The prospective study done on 30 patients with ESLD (End Stage Liver Disease) and FHF (Fulminant Hepatic Failure) by El-Karaksy et al [13] in Egypt have reported mortality of 56.7%.
