Abstract:Abstract. This work presents a chromatic characterization of the bloodstains of the Shroud of Turin. The analysis is carried out by considering the chromatic values of the bloodstains and by calculating the chromatic ratios to be adopted in a comparative analysis. Six categories were obtained and characterized. By considering the geometry of the body and the position of the sheet, the analysis allowed the formulation of hypotheses on the dynamics of blood formation and flowing.
