“…The vulnerability of Gram‐positive bacteria to the antibacterial agent seems reasonable by consideration of this fact that the presence of an additional bilayer phospholipid membrane in Gram‐negative bacteria makes it less susceptible to structural damages. Because this membrane acts as a permeability barrier, hence cell uptake is reduced and negative effects on bacteria induced by PANI‐CS modified TiO 2 nanocomposite will somewhat be prevented . The observed outstanding biocide performance could be explained by the inhibitory effect of TiO 2 nanoparticles combined with the remarkable antimicrobial properties of CS.…”

“…The materials that are cotton fabric-based used in photocatalysis often bear TiO 2 nanoparticles which are known as an excellent catalyst under UV light (Stan et al, 2018;Mishra and Butola, 2018;Nosrati, Olad and Najjari, 2017). ZnO nanaostructure has also been widely used in the same field of application; it represents an alternative thanks to its wide gap (3.37 eV), exciton binding energy (60 meV) and its low price (Zhu et al, 2017).…”

“…Nanocomposites such as TiO -PANI-based cotton fabric have also been used in photocatalysis, the materials exhibits better photocatalytic activity thanks to the synergistic effect at the TiO 2 //PANI interface. (Nosrati, Olad and Najjari, 2017; Kumar and Pandey, 2018).…”

“…Titanium dioxide prevents the impregnation of dirt when exposed to solar irradiation [13]. Studies have shown that TiO 2 is a hydroxyl with photocatalytic and hygroscopic properties whose chemical reactions, when mixed in GRC, are accelerated under UV radiation [14]. Photocatalysis emulates natural photosynthesis adsorbed and contributes to the separation of electron pairs [15,16].…”
