Investments in the energy networks will significantly influence the outcome of Integrated Energy System (IES) planning. It is difficult to optimally plan the energy stations and energy networks of IES while taking into consideration the energy network investments. Thus, a collaborative planning methodology is proposed for energy stations and energy networks containing multiple energy carriers, which can optimize both the capacity of the energy devices and networks and the topology of the energy networks. The linearization for the energy storage devices and electric air conditioning models, as well as the secondorder relaxation for the power grid and gas network models are implemented, and the optimization model is subsequently transformed into a mixed-integer second-order cone programming (MISOCP) form which can be directly solved by the commercial solvers. Numerical analysis is carried out to prove the effectiveness of the proposed model and method and the results show that energy networks with optimal topology can significantly improve the energy utilization efficiency of the system and reduce the total cost. In addition, the investment cost of the energy networks plays a decisive role in the network topology as well as the way how the energy is supplied to energy stations.

The uncertainty of photovoltaic and demand response brings challenges to the optimal scheduling of integrated energy system (IES) in the market circumstances. In this paper, the uncertainty model of photovoltaic and demand response is firstly established. On this basis, an optimal scheduling strategy based on interval linear stochastic chance constrained programming is proposed. The uncertainty of renewable energy generation prediction is described by probability distribution function, and the uncertainty of load participating demand response is described by interval number. Thus, an interval linear stochastic chance constraint programming model is constructed, and the model is solved by Cplex solver. The proposed method is compared with the interval linear programming and stochastic chance constrained programming models used separately in IES. The results show that the proposed method has lower operating cost and less dependence on the prediction accuracy, and can improve the economy of IES while ensuring the safe operation of the system.

The park integrated energy system (PIES) plays an important role in realizing sustainable energy development and carbon neutral. Furthermore, its optimization dispatch can improve the energy utilization efficiency and reduce energy systems operation cost. However, the randomness and volatility of renewable energy and the instability of load all bring challenges to its optimal operation. An optimal dispatch framework of PIES is proposed, which constructs the operation models under three different time scales, including day-ahead, intra-day and real-time. Demand response is also divided into three levels considering its response characteristics and cost composition under different time scales. The example analysis shows that the multi-time scale optimization dispatch model can not only meet the supply and demand balance of PIES, diminish the fluctuation of renewable energy and flatten load curves, but also reduce the operation cost and improve the reliability of energy systems.
