“…In addition, the subcommittee has polled authors of studies on pediatric IBS‐C to obtain information on the number of daily bowel movements in children with this diagnosis. Data from two studies have shown that the mean number of bowel movements was variable among children with IBS‐C with a wide spectrum that ranged from one to seven BMs a week .
