Superior mesenteric artery thrombosis in a female patient with most probable cause COVID-19 vaccination: Case report

Abstract: Superior mesenteric artery thrombosis is a rare incident with high mortality rate. Herein we present the case of a 65-year-old woman of Spanish origin who attended the Emergency department two days after COVID-19 vaccination with symptoms and signs of mesenteric ischemia.
