Surface acoustic wave detection of robust zero-resistance states under microwaves

Abstract: Microwave-induced resistance oscillations (MIRO) and zero-resistance states (ZRS) occur in high mobility two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) exposed to microwave (MW). We observe that the velocity shift (∆v/v) oscillates in anti-correlation with MIRO, and ∆v/v shows peaks at the minimal resistance of MIRO or at ZRS.
