Surgical pulmonary embolectomy and catheter-directed thrombolysis for treatment of submassive pulmonary embolism

Abstract: Pulmonary embolectomy and CDT are important contemporary advanced treatment options for selected high-risk patients with submassive PE, who do not qualify for medical therapy.
