“…We conducted FTIR characterization of the prepared Fe III -HMOF-5 and Fe III -HMOF-5/capsaicin to determine whether new chemical bonds were formed before and after adsorption. As shown in Figure 3 , the spectrum of capsaicin showed a clear peak of CH 2 at 2,900 cm −1 ( Kuzminova et al, 2021 ).
