In the Mediterranean diet, olive oil serves as the predominant fat source and has been linked to a decreased risk of mortality related to cardiovascular diseases (CVD). Still, there is no conclusive evidence correlating olive oil consumption to CVD. The aim of this study is to assess the global research, current research trends, and knowledge mapping related to the correlation between the consumption of olive oil and CVD using bibliometric analysis. On August 19, 2023, a title‐specific literature search was conducted on the Scopus database using the search terms “olive oil” and “cardiovascular disease” with a date range of the past 50 years. Subsequently, bibliometric tools such as VOSviewer and Bibliometrix were employed to analyze and evaluate the obtained documents. The search yielded (n = 429) publications and showed an upward trend in the annual publication count over the last five decades. The publication number exhibited a gradual increase with a rate of 5.55%. The results also indicated that 2530 authors, 759 institutions, 47 countries, and 223 journals have publications in this research domain. The present bibliometric study will be a valuable research reference for describing the worldwide research patterns concerning the relationship between olive oil and CVD during the past 50 years. In the future, the application of olive oil for the treatment of CVDs may be an emerging research trend. Apart from this, collaborations among authors, countries, and organizations are expected.

This paper considers the reasonability of using GSDMM as a method for clustering short texts - titles and abstracts of publications 2021-2023 of MDPI journals on sustainable energy topics. The paper proposes an approach to identifying relevant research topics based on the use of the Python script Yake!, the Krovetz streamer, the GSDMM algorithm, and short text annotations. It is emphasized that researchers prefer to rely on specific publications rather than keywords when searching for information on a topic of interest. The bibliometric records of sustainable energy publications from 2021 to 2023 in Sustainability (Energy Sustainability section — 1,926 search results) and Energies (Sustainable Energy section — 994 search results) were used as data for analysis. The GSDMM algorithm was used to cluster the texts, and Yake! to extract the keywords for the GSDMM algorithm's vocabulary. This article summarizes topics found in 9 clusters, including general sustainable energy issues, biomass recycling, region-specific issues, building energy use, economic growth and investment, numerical flow modeling, generation cost optimization, heat to energy conversion, weather-related risks, and false data attacks.

This study aims to explore the research trends and patterns of major issues connecting climate change and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by employing a bibliometric analysis. The study has found that there is an increasing number of research and policies in various countries committed to finding and implementing strategies to solve climate change issues. The countries with the most research in this field are China, India, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, with Environmental Sciences & Ecology being the most published domain. The study has identified 19 clusters intersecting with climate change and SDGs, with the top five clusters in terms of proportion related to agricultural and food systems, water and soil resources, energy, economy, ecosystem, and sustainable management. This study also presents the trend changes of research topics intersecting climate change and SDGs every 2–3 years. Especially in the recent two years, with the convening of COP26 and COP27 and the advocacy of Net Zero and CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) of the EU, important topics include renewable energy, protection of ecosystem services, life cycle assessment, food security, agriculture in Africa, sustainable management, synergies of various policies, remote sensing technology, and desertification among others. This shows an increasingly diversified range of important topics being discussed in relation to climate change and sustainable development goals.
