Sutureless thyroidectomy using electrothermal system: a new technique

Abstract: Bleeding is a dangerous complication of thyroid surgery. We describe a new technique of vessel and tissue sealing and bleeding control using an electrothermal sealer. The technique has some potential advantages over the current methods used for this purpose.
