Additionally, cutaneous lupus erythematosus is a significant histopathologic mimic of ice-pack dermatosis, emphasizing the importance of obtaining a detailed clinical history of cold exposure when dermatologists and dermatopathologists encounter these clinical and histopathologic features. 1,2
