Synergetics of hardening construction systems

Abstract: Abstract. The study of hardening high-strength systems indicates the relation between the potential of synergetics and issues related to structure formation of aggregates produced on the basis of rationally selected construction mixes. The paper considers challenges of the general principles of synergetics and sustainable development of open dissipative systems and their use in industry, as well as their understanding as complete self-regulating nonequilibrium systems. The main objective of the study was to de… Show more

“…The efficiency of sound reflectors is evaluated by the following features of materials and structures: The surface weight of the cladding [ 64 , 65 ]. In building acoustics, there is a well-known “law of mass”, according to which doubling the mass of a single-layer fence leads to an increase in sound insulation.…”

“…The origin of synergetics dates back to the 1960's and is based on a theoretical physicists' research framework on the self-organization of complex dynamic systems (Haken 1984). Several studies in various academic fields including microbiology, sociology, management, psychology, and public policy have instrumentally advanced the framework application outside the confines of natural sciences (Liening 2014;Qiao et al 2017;Tolstoy et al 2018;Ürge-Vorsatz & Tirado Herrero 2012). For instance, Haken & Portugali (2019) applied urban inter-representation, networks and information adaptation to modelling for addressing urban planning challenges in Portugal based on synergetics theory while Qiao et al 2017, successfully deployed synergetics development and assessment models in addressing problems of urban river systems landscape in China.…”

“…The theory's origin can be traced to the physicist Herman Haken. The Theory of Synergetics sometimes also is referred to as Multi-disciplinary Collaboration or Self-emergence Theory with the ability to assess, comprehend and elaborate the inherent complex system changes and pattern formations based on the principles of self-organization (Tolstoy et al 2018). Haken (1980) asserts that understanding and identifying internal system mechanisms and rules attributing to system sustainability is the backbone of synergetics theory.…”

“…The main methods for dispersing CNT are mechanical dispersion (e.g., high-speed ball milling) [13][14][15][16], ultrasonic dispersion [17][18][19][20], electric field induction [21][22][23], surface modification (also called functionalization) [1,24,25], or a combination of these methods. Among the functionalization methods, the most common is by exposing the CNT to a highly acidic environment (e.g., solution of sulfuric and nitric acid) [26][27][28].…”
