“…Traditional methods for exploring collaborative relationships often use coupling coordination analysis and correlation analysis [70]. Regarding collaboration/trade-off relationship, some scholars have conducted research on ecosystem service, spatial function, urban development, and other aspects [71][72][73]. Zheng [74] believed that the trade-off index could be used to quantify the degree of collaboration between different ecosystem services.…”

“…Wetlands are important resources providing tremendous ecosystem services including ood control, surface water regulation, improving water quality, habitat, and source of various food items (Loiselle et al, 2023). Wetlands are productive ecosystems that harbor many globally threatened species (Zhang et al, 2023).…”

“…Wetlands are productive ecosystems that harbor many globally threatened species (Zhang et al, 2023). Despite its bene ts, wetland ecosystems are under rapid and frequent changes mainly due to land conversion (Awash and Tekalign, 2023a; Loiselle et al, 2023) and climate change (Salimi and Scholz, 2021).…”

“…Originating from agricultural multifunctionality, LUFs encompass the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of regional sustainable development, which refers to the ability to provide private and public goods or services through diversified land use [16,17], and typically include economic, social, and environmental functions [18]. In recent years, research on LUFs has been more extensive, focusing on the conceptual and theoretical framework of LUFs [17], the construction of the indicator system [19], spatial identification [8], spatio-temporal changes [16,17], and other aspects, as well as the spatio-temporal evolution of LUFs [20,21], influencing factors [22,23], trade-off analysis, and sustainable land management [24,25]. Existing studies mainly focus on a single province or city as the basic research scope, with relatively few studies at the watershed scale; in the determination of LUFs, the differences in functions between regions are not taken into account; and the judgment of the coordination of LUFs mostly relies on the coupled coordination degree model, which is too homogeneous in its approach.…”
