Synthese und Kristallstruktur des Dichlor-Adduktes von 2, 3-Dihydro-1, 3-diisopropyl-4, 5-dimethylimidazol-2-yliden [1]Professor Wolfgang Haubold zum 65. Geburtstag gewidmet

Abstract: 2,3-Dihydro-1,3-diispropyl-4,5-dimethylimidazol-2-ylidene (1, Im) reacts with hexachloroethane to give the charge-transfer adduct Im-Cl-Cl (2) in almost quantitative yield. The crystal structure of 2 reveals the presence of a near linear C-Cl-Cl fragment (3) Å , C-Cl-Cl 166.1(1)°] which is discussed as weak Charge-Transfer-Addukte weicher und mittelharter Neutralbasen mit Dihalogen-Molekülen (B-X-X) sind hinsichtlich der Natur des festen Zustandes vor allem in Form der Diiod-Addukte von Phosphor-und Selen-Base… Show more
