Synthese und Photoleitfähigkeit von Poly(2,7‐fluorenylen‐1,2‐diphenylvinylen). Untersuchungen über Poly(arylenvinylene), 28

Abstract: Hochmolekulares, in THF lösliches Poly(2,7‐fluorenylen‐1,2‐diphenylvinylen) 4 wird durch Dehalogenierungspoly‐kondensation mittels Chrom (II) acetat aus 2,7‐Bis(α,α‐dichlorbenzyl) fluoren gewonnen. Show more

“…Katz has demonstrated the validity of the metal carbene mechanism by another method (Scheme 14). 244 When a mixture of 13 C-labeled and 13 C-unlabeled phenylacetylenes is polymerized by MoCl 5 -Ph 4 Sn, the labeled carbons in the polymer are separated by single bonds according to 13 C-nutation NMR (Scheme 14). 244 This observation means the cleavage of two π-bonds in the acetylene monomer during polymerization.…”

“…π-Conjugated polymers such as polyacetylene, polyacetylene derivatives, poly(aromatic vinylenes), polyaromatics, polyazines, and polyazomethine, etc., have been extensively studied for the past 4 decades. Polyacetylene and its derivatives may be conceptually defined as the linear polymers having a π-conjugated system in the main chain.…”

“…Polyfluorenevinylenes have been known since 1986 when Hoerhold [19] described the synthesis of poly (2,7fluorenylene-1,3-diphenylvinylene) by dechlorination polycondensation. A polymer with a similar chemical structure to ours but containing both meta-and para-linked benzene rings has been recently prepared by the Heck reaction.…”

“…The polymer was prepared by reductive coupling ͑dehalogenation polymerization͒ of appropriately substituted tetrachlorides. 7,8 The yellow polymer is amorphous and a high molecular weight material ͓M n (VPO͒ϭ20 000͔, which is soluble in toluene, chlorobenzene, or chloroform. It is well suited for fabricating excellent waveguide layers by means of spin coating.…”
