SUMMARYThe synthesis of the carbon-labelled antioxidant 1,3,5-trimethyl-2,4,6-tris-(3,5-di-tert.-b~tyl-4-hydroxy-benzyl-~~C) benzene and the thin-layer chromatography of the intermediates and the final product on Kieselgel H , using diferent solvent systems in order to check the degree of purity is described.
