Syntheses, crystal structures and density functional theory investigations of copper(ii) complexes bearing tridentate Schiff base ligands derived from 8-aminoquinoline

Abstract: Three copper(II) Schiff base complexes have been synthesized and characterized. The theoretical study, carried out using density functional theory calculations, is devoted to the analysis of the interesting supramolecular assemblies in the solid state of the structures, paying special attention to lp−π and π−π interactions.
