Synthesis and Biological Activity of N-Alkyl Derivatives of IbotenicAcid.-The synthesis of the title ibotenic acid derivatives involves the bromination of derivative (I) to furnish compound (II), ester hydrolysis and amination-desulfonylation of the intermediary formed bromoibotenic acid.
