Synthesis and Characterization of a New Organometallic Palladium Coordinated Liquid Crystal

Abstract: A new organometallic palladium coordinated liquid crystal that is written by PdS4 has been synthesized by chelating reaction of the tetrachloropalladate (PdCl42-) and the star-like liquid crystal (S4) containing four butoxyazobenzene mesogens in its periphery.
